The search continues...
There are many things that man searches for in life. God, peace, money, appreciation. A good apartment is not particularly high on that list, but it is on it, and as part of a good search one must take vast amounts of documentation just to keep your head on straight. Emily and I are looking for a better apartment (one that we will eventually live in together). Her current place, Meadowlark Hills, must be escaped as quickly as possible.
Did I mention that a few weeks ago someone was shot to death by the police there?
Every time I mention that, Emily is quick to point out that the man was “going for the officer’s gun”, whatever that means, and thus brought it on himself. Ignoring semantics and issues about the use of deadly force by the police, what that really means is that she’s living with crazy people. Violent crazy people.
